Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data coolceilingideas.com (“Cool Ceiling Ideas”, “we”) collects when you visit the site, and why. Contact for privacy questions: [email protected].
What we collect
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics receives cookieless signals without identifiers (Google Consent Mode). We don’t use advertising or remarketing features. Google may process this data on servers outside your country; see Google’s privacy policy.
Cookie-free statistics. We also use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn’t collect data that identifies you; it only counts page views, referrers and device types in aggregate.
Server logs. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) for security and troubleshooting. We keep them for a limited time and don’t use them to identify visitors.
Email. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and we keep the conversation for as long as needed to handle it.
Newsletter. If we offer a newsletter and you subscribe, we store your email address to send it, with a confirmation step and an unsubscribe link in every email.
Search. The site search runs entirely in your browser. Your searches are not sent to us.
Calculators
Our calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or stored; we only record, through Google Analytics and according to your cookie choice, that a calculator was used.
Amazon links
When you click a link to Amazon, you leave our site and Amazon’s own privacy and cookie policies apply. We don’t receive your personal data from Amazon; we only see aggregated sales reports.
Your choices and rights
You can change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its use. Email us and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. We don’t sell personal data.
Children
This site is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change and show the date of the last update below.
